Hi Everyone
My Nana sadly passed away on the 5th August at the age of 89. She was a wonderful, strong independent lady who did helped with a lot of charitable causes even in her 80′s. She use to love my arrangements which I made for her in fresh and artificial, so I really wanted to make her flowers for her funeral. We decided to send two arrangements from our family. This is the first time I made a funeral wreath, it was quite overwhelming making it for someone you love dearly.

Yellow and white colour scheme chosen for the cross
I chose to use large white gerberas, white Singapore orchids, white stocks, white carnations, yellow roses and green chrysanthemums.

White flowers chosen for the wreath design
This is my second attempt at the wreath, the first design did not work where I tried to group the flowers together. I think the gerberas were too big.

I thought I also show a picture of my working progress. Most of the work was done on the kitchen floor because it rained outside where I wanted to work on the decking. All the green foilage was cut from my garden.
