Aintree Craft Show

May 23rd, 2011

Hello Everybody,

This weekend I had a fab time at the ICHF craft show at Aintree Race Course in Liverpool. Saw a lot of regular customers, it is nice to travel the country and meet up with customers at least once a year.

At Aintree my friends Leanne and Kayleigh the twins came to do some shopping and popped by to say hi. I can never tell which one is which,

They even bought me a surprise present, a gorgeous hand made make up bag! which they made themselves, they are both very talented young ladies. Think I will put my Nintendo DS in the bag, don’t want to mark it with make up. It was such a nice surprise, really made my day. Thank you very much Girls!

NEC Craft Show

March 31st, 2011

Hi Everyone

So sorry i have not put any post on for a few weeks. It has been hectic with the craft shows.

Had a fantastic time at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham last week. It was such a long week for us, we went to set up the stand on Wednesday and finished the show on Sunday. Phew! It was very tiring.

On Sunday it was a bit quieter, so I managed to get some shopping done. I bought myself a few sets of the new Go Create dies from Samuel Taylors. I love using scallops!

I love buying pretty papers, managed to find this pretty set of floral papers from Gadsby Crafts. The papers are from Do Crafts – Rose Garden Collections. Think I will use the papers with my new die cuts…..Can’t wait!

Went passed Crafts U Print stand and I had to have a picture taken with Crafty Bob. Won a prize on the tombola as well. Must have been my lucky day!!

Craft Show at Leigh

March 17th, 2011

Hi Everyone !

Last week we were exhibiting at the Leigh Craft Show at Leigh sports centre.

Managed to catch up with my friend Wendy she has a blog The Clipart Fairy where she does craft cds and downloadables. Wendy managed to do some shopping and bought lots of crafting goodies.

I’ve know Wendy for a long time and first met her when she had a shop in Widnes. I still remember when i first went there to sell her some of our products and i was just stammering away because i was so nervous ! But bless her she was very good to me.

Make It Farnborough – First craft class

February 25th, 2011

Hi everyone,

Sorry I have not done a post for a while, just been run off my feet doing craft shows. Just thought I would share a quick post because I did my first craft class today. It was very nerve wreaking but it went well.

We are at the Make It show at Farnborough Five. Very strange place surrounded by planes and runways, just keep hearing planes flying overhead.

I’ve got workshops booked everyday at 3:00 I was teaching crafters how to make a string flower which I designed myself. Its the first time i’ve ever done a craft class! Luckily for me at the end of the hour session, they all said they had a lovely time……Phew!

Below are a few pics from the workshop.

Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show

September 29th, 2010

This weekend we were exhibiting at the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show at Alexandra Palace in London.

Really wanted to do some shopping at this show but i was so busy demonstrating, just had enough time to go to the toilet. I did manage to buy some scrap booking papers i absoloutely love 12 x12 papers, they have really nice patterns and textures on them. i think the designs are absoloutely fantastic.

Lovely papers bought from Capture The Magic

Bought some papers before from a scrapbooking company called Capture The Magic ended up using all the papers so i thought i would pay them another visit and stock up with more pretty papers. I used their flocked patterned paper for a craft challenge on the Trimcraft forum.

Glittery Scrapbooking Papers from Capture The Magic

This time i decided to buy a few different colours because i love the patterns and the glitz. Think i will admire the papers for a while, actually a long while before i use them . . . . gorgeous papers.

Dashing around the stamp and scrapbooking show i managed to find some really nice hidden treasures. Found some lovely papers from two scrapbooking companies that were exhibiting at the show the Scrap Shed and Sugar and Spice.

Christmas Scrapbooking Papers

Some of my friends from the Trimcraft Forum came to the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show and said hello which was really nice of them. Its nice meeting people face to face just wish i had more time to chat to them.

Soon as i get round to making some cards with my new finds i’ll post them on my blog.
