Scottie Dog ATC

July 21st, 2010

I was making a birthday card using white scottie dogs when i thought you know what, the cute doggies would look really cool on a ATC, so i put the birthday card to one side and started on the ATC. Tried to use just one sided ATC but as usual i was running out of space for my design. Lol!

Had the colour scheme in mind and yes it does involve pink.

Used these little doggy stickers to go with the design. I like using them on cards or ATC’s, they are so cute and adorble.

To make small stickers look bigger, matt and layer in a square in the shapeand style to suit the ATC or greeting card.

The scottie dogs are so cute, nice furry texture. Hope you dog lovers out there like the card.

Smirk ATC For Trimcraft Sketch Challenge

June 15th, 2010

I am really getting into the sketch challenge on the Trim Craft Forum, so i decided to make a ATC for Challenge 5. I started making ATC’s a few years ago when the big craze hit us Crafters.

I prefer working on a 3 sided ATC rather than one side as i feel like its not enough space for me to work with.

Anyway, i bought a strip of Smirk paper from the craft show a while ago but stored it in my ‘Rainy Day Collection’ (which i’m sure we all have, lol).  I used them for the ATC coz they’re small & cute enough to fit on there.

I think these lil smirks are just adorable!

All 3 of the Smirk images iv used are really really cute. I also used  Thin Pink Satin Ribbon, Pink Dotty Stickers in the corners , Sequin Flowers layered upon each other with a round Brad through the middle and finished off with Clear Silver Gems on top of the Brad all from www.meiflower.co.uk
