Cute waving teddy
January 5th, 2011
Hi Everyone,
Woke up again to a thin layer of snow again and thought….. Oh no here we go again, the big freeze for another few weeks but luckily it has all melted away. Can’t believe Christmas has come and gone, it has passed sooo quick.
My sister-in-law is due to give birth to a baby boy end of this month. So i need to sit down and make a baby card A.S.A.P. This is a card i made for Create and Craft using the baby pack from Meiflower
This design is made on a 6 x 6″ white square card
I have rounded the corners of the card with a corner punch. Stuck a baby blue bazzil card on top of the white card stock, on the top part of the card I have stuck a thin baby blue thin satin ribbon.
I have mounted the cute waving teddy in a white square, rounded the corners with a small corner punch and layered onto a scalloped square made from a nestibillitie die using baby blue gingham card.
Before I stuck the the square onto the gingham square scallop. I have folded a piece of embossed ‘Its a boy’ grosgrain ribbon in half to create a tag and stuck the excess behind the white square.
To finish off the card, i have used a strip of printed grosgrain ribbon with ‘Its a Boy’. This creates a stunning effect and it goes really well with the rest of the design.
So so cute. I like the way you fold the ribbon over the “it’s a boy”. x
